ReplyDeleteIt's frightening how long is lasted, that the entire world could be in such chaos for such a long time. We've privileged to live in a country that hasn't seen war on it's shores for more than a century. I cant imagine going through what Vladek and his family did, without ever knowing if it would end, or if I would live to see it. With the middle-east being in such a flux, from good news like Egypt fighting for it's freedom, to the Israel-Palestine conflict, I'd hate for history to repeat itself for us, our the next generation.
